Coding Game For Kids
Youth Corps Singapore, CodeSpark Academy
I helped out at the Youth Corp Singapore Coding Games for Kids voluntary service program to teach children simple coding games through online calls.
Having to interact with different groups of kids for one month, twice per week, every morning, took me much patience and energy as I have to keep up with my energy level to effectively talk to the kids.
Youth Expedition Project

Being selected as one of the few participants of the Youth Expedition Project - Goes Online, I was put in-charge to teach the Cebu Youths the fundamentals of Adobe Photoshop and the basics of Singlish.
I made use of my event facilitation and presentation skills to help emcee the various ice breakers and closure rounds smoothly and presented the cultural facts in a more interesting and engaging way. Moreover, I also used my creative skills learnt in my course modules to lead a few people in planning of the photoshop lesson structure and deliver sufficient content points catering to the Cebu youths with different level of understanding of Photoshop so that everyone will learn something new.
Serving the Cebu youths online was truly a new experience for me in my volunteering journey. Though online, the energy of the Cebu youths were still so bright and welcoming that we all warmed up quickly and served while exchanging cultural knowledge with them.
Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Academy

I was enrolled into Fo Guang Shan, a Buddhist Academy from the year 2015 to 2019.
Through these years of studies in Fo Guang Shan, I was exposed to many volunteering opportunities and fundraising events.
When I was still young, I was allocated to help out at the fundraising festival's booths and the Vesak Day booths. As I grew older, I stepped up to perform in fundraising activities and also helped facilitate children activities.
Team Destars
Nan Chiau High School
In Secondary school, I was also part of the student-initiated project Destars, working together with Boys' Town to spread awareness of young boys and girls who need support to cope with past traumas and learn skills to socialise efficiently.
We had to consolidate and design all merchandises then do street sales to help raise funds for Boys' Town with the aim of removing the social stigma associated with them for having a different background.
